Medium vaults
https://www.twitch.tv/ohtofu/clip/QuaintDignifiedSalmonBIRB?filter=clips&range=7d&sort=time doesn't anyone think medium vaults are a bit too strong now? They take 0 skill and effort unlike timing fast vaults yet give so much now. Just an opinion,I'd like to hear what people think.

Medium vaults are fine imo. Dunno never saw a problem with it after the update.

Tofu has good ping, I can relate to that issue. However, switch sides and I can assure you that, even though vaults are improved, what you see in the clip is not the norm. Since the patch, I've been hit after fast vaults where the killer did the missed swing animation with the whiffing sound, then teleported forward and got a delayed hit. I could see post-match that they were far from the server. Also, ranged attacks like hatchets feel even worse now.
It's ironically a sad situation, because now killers with good ping are disadvantaged.

I mean they technically work as intended,no lagback. But you just have to press space instead of timing/positioning for a fast vault to actually outplay someone.

True that. VPN-ers still getting bs hits. And Yeah,i agree hatchet hits got worse. I feel it when playing surv.

This is how vaults are supposed to work. Everyone just got used to the dedicated hits. You can't just swing through the whole shack and hit someone vaulting that's just bullshit.

The thing is. It takes 0 skill. You just wait at the vault,don't have the reaction time of a snail and make the vault by just pressing space. It can work as intended,but it seems too strong.

It's really not. If you don't lose chase = survivor gets 3 of these vaults, and you can use that to your advantage, because you know where they'll end up. You can also vault the window and deny it right off the bat. Not to mention mind-gaming and hiding your stain to have the survivor double question himself and surprising him.

I still feel like the medium vaults are a bit too strong rn. They give too small of a window for the killer to hit,and sometimes a survivor will just 45 some random ass window and u'll get ######### cause the window to hit the surv is too small.
