Lery's Memorial Hatchet Hitbox

Hello,
I am playing on PC, in a game of huntress on Lery's. There seems to be an odd hitbox for the hatchets through the center piece of the "treatment room." As shown in the attached photo, my hatchet appears to break on the side of the chairs/machinery when trying to throw through the center piece.
I didn't have time to test from all angles as this was in a public match. But it did happen consistently with the four hatchets that I threw, after I saw the first one break for no reason.

Update: It does seem to be consistant with the circular plate in the middle. You can't throw a hatchet while you are outside circle, but you can throw out while you stand in the middle. Tested it on KYF on PC only.
