Give killers and survivors option for first person and 3rd person view. Wow you just balanced the game!

More fps, better look (in terms of FOV, not stretched), habit from other games. Cheers.

There is a "mechanic" to show the same amount for all resolutions. It's called stretching +-

Killers with third person is a bit much and survivors with 1st person should honestly be a game mode like around halloween on lerys and you have to play against a myers. ######### would be scary as hell

3rd party software?! You clearly have no idea what stretched screen even is. Stop.

All i see are excuses. Nobody needs more then 1080p/60fps, esp. in DbD.
If crossplay will be a thing, they need to make sure editing the gamefiles is forbidden first.

You are using unfair advantage that not everyone has using a third party software, it's not a hard concept lol. it's literally using an advantage others don't have, which is cheating. You are the one that needs too stop lol.

Are those who have a 4:3 monitor using an unfair advanrage too? Because they have stretched fov as native.
And stretched doesn't give the ability to see over loops, that's Tru3 who's making stuff up.
This debunks the myth of sTReTchEd iS cHeAtiNg https://m.twitch.tv/clip/KathishFragileHyenaCeilingCat

The advantage you get from more FoV in DBD is significantly greater than the advantage you get from more FoV in a traditional FPS.
Thus in an FPS the benefits are small enough that no one cares.
Whereas in DBD it means the difference between sneaking past the Killer no problem and being spotted and killed. The simple fact that it's a stealth game makes the FoV an important mechanic where it would otherwise be trivial.

You dont need to but it's really nice to go above 60, 144 frames is ######### addicting and although I dont have a higher then 1080p monitor people pay a lot to get the monitors that can and they should be able to utilize them.

That's kind of debatable tbh if I were to use dbd's FOV in other fps I'd be constantly getting shot from outside of my view, take siege for example you pretty often have to watch multiple angles which would be impossible to do in some scenarios without having a higher FOV. However some people who like to go for distance shots will have lower FOV cause it makes spawnpeaking at certain maps a little easier. Options are nice.

It's still an unfair advantage against people who play the game how it's intended. But that's not your fault, even if you would agree.
People need rules. And as long BHVR doesn't set these rules clearly, people will continue abusing it.

I mean I guess but should people not be able to utilize the full extent of the products they bought. Having better equipment is always gonna be a slight advantage like having a better headset or a better mouse and keyboard, is that considered cheating?

I don't think anybody buys better equipment just for DbD, that's not the point.
Also your arguement negates strechted res (i joined the debate for this), it makes the game looking worse, not better.

Also i joined this debate for the strechted res topic.
This makes the game looking worse, not better or "full extent of the product", like you mentioned.

1. I'm not saying people buy better equipment for dbd alone but I know many who bought better equipment to run all games better, and rather disappointed or annoyed when a game doesnt support it.
2. Then should be people be penalized for having a 4:3 monitor which is what people use for the stretched res I believe? Or they run in lower resolutions to allow the game to run better because they have worse equipment.

There would be ZERO reason to play on anything other than the highest FOV. Hiding from the killer is a core mechanic in the game which just gets tossed out the window if they can SEE BETTER. Anyone that uses Shadowborn regularly would know that you can see and find survivors much MUCH easier than without it.
I get that maybe the FOV makes you motion sick. That sucks. But unlike other games it needs to be this way for balance reasons. Balance is more important than accessibility. Sorry but that's how it is.

I do use shadow born regularly it doesn help you spot people much better it can help you track people slightly better like it makes it a little bit harder to spin me that's really it.

No dude it definitely makes it easier to see survivors. Blendettes stick out like a sore thumb when you use Shadowborn. I use it on Nurse, Legion and Huntress. Also sometimes Spirit for fun. It makes a huge difference.

The point is that hiding from the Killer in DBD is a core part of the game.
While hiding from other operators in siege just isn't.
Having a consistent FoV for the guards in a stealth game is a prerequisite for allowing proper stealth outside of solely LoS blockers. The guard in this case is of course the Killer. So ensuring that what the Killer can see is consistent is important since Survivors are expected to strategise around that limitation, while in siege you are NOT expected to strategise around a particular operators ability to see to their left.
