Did anything ever come of the Vanilla Experiment? Was there ever any confirmation that this could/would be a new game mode?

I'd love to play a game mode without Perks, Items, and Add-ons.

No they aren't making a new gamemodeat the moment. And I would love to see new gamemodesand stuff but no sadly
