Is it allowed to use 3rd party macro software?

For moonwalking, wiggling, etc.... you know?

Idk if it's allowed but I've been using macros for struggle phase since I got the game since I'm too lazy to sit there and tap my space bar.

so you are maybe self-reporting? lol

I searched before and they said it is not bannable but the automatic anti-cheating software may ban you, and they provided a whilelist link which is not working... so thats why I am asking, I wanna moonwalk basically with my Logitech G203

I just use my corsair software to spam the space bar and I've never had any issues with being banned.

Quite a Bunch of people are using Macros so I guess the probability to get banned for using a Macro is pretty low.

And to be honest, as long as the Struggle Mechanic is as awful as it is, it should be understandable that players dont want to break their Spacebar when playing DBD...

I have a friend who's been using the built in steam key mapper for his steam controller to spam the struggle phase

I think you shouldn't be worried as long as you use the software that comes with your hardware. I wouldn't recommend using 3rd party software that you find on the internet. I know there have been numerous reports of people in various different games, getting banned for using AHK.
