Taking One For The Team Trophy
“Protect a recently unhooked survivor by taking a hit near them 250 times”
Do other protection hits count towards this trophy? I.e. Taking a hit while a survivor is being carried. Taking a hit while you’re healing a survivor you randomly encountered on the map.
Or is it strictly unhooking hits?
Can a dev offer some clarity in the subject please. @Peanits

I'm pretty sure it's just like the description says. You need to get a protection hit after you unhooked a survivor.I think the time frame would be starting at the unhook and ending at the Safe Unhook Score you get after 15 seconds since you unhooked i think.

I finally got the achievement yesterday on PS4.
It's after unhooking a survivor, so basically doing it right under the killer's nose. Then get hit and get the 'protection' score notification.
I'm not sure if you can get if another survivor does the unhooking and you're next to the hook and take a hit. But it popped when I unhooked a survivor and took the hit the second after the unhook.
So done. 100% DBD and 100% DBD 2 trophies on PS4. All done.

It works even when unhooked by someone else, but yeah, the guy must essentially be farmed in front of the killer to make it count and the killer must not go for the immediate tunnel.
You used to be able to tell if it worked because you would get two protection hit score events, one for 200 BP and the other for 100. I think it's no longer the case since they changed how protection hits work.
