Automatically die during endgame?

Hey havent played in about 2 months so i might have missed this. I was playing a game against a freddy today and had not gotten hooked all game i got knocked down making a hook save at the end of the game while somebody opened the door i had deliverance and ds so I wasnt worried everybody ran out so i was the last one left got hooked right by the gate so i was just gome jump off and ds if i had to but it just sacrificed me right away skipped the struggle phase and everything is this a new change?

    if you're the last survivor and are hooked, you're auto sacrificed, this has been around for quite a while
