Can't do anything in game (PC)

So, when loading into a game the game just stops responding to my input. Everything else running is fine, just dbd stops reacting to my m/k. I can see everything happen, and use m/k on other programs whiles its happening but not anything in the game. Weird bug, happened to me twice, think its caused when alt+tabbing out of the game.
