Devs this is when you need to fix the game's matchmaking.
I would expect Rank 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15.
But seriously..? 3 Rank 1's and a Rank 2?
You said it would be 6 Ranks away each matchmaking game. That is 7 to 8 ranks away from me. Yeah it ain't much but look at the facts:
3 Rank 1's and 1 Rank 2? Is that really a Solo Queue? No. It can't be because if it is then you need to fix Matchmaking pronto in your next patch. But if it was a SWF group then WTH!?!? HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?
You guys yourselves have stated that matchmaking in SWF would search for the rank closest to the highest rank in the group.
So how is this fair? I wonder how the rank 20's must feel if they get dealt this deck of cards.
That's the end of my rant, just letting you know ;P (cause I dealt with this twice in a row.)

Yeah I had it happen 2 games in a row. Like.. this is getting crazy each patch.

They prioritize ping, wait time, then fairness. No high rank killers, so they throw purple, green, and yellow ranks to the wolves. Gives survivors a massive ego boost and shorter queues, so it's a win for bhvr. Happy survivors spend money.
They're never going to fix matchmaking, just hide the ranks so you don't complain. Suck out up, or find a different game.

Lemme guess, you brought an ebony and didn't get to ebony all four? While I'll agree matchmaking is crap, you're only 2 ranks off from the supposed cap that they set a while back. That's nothing like the 4 rank 1s vs a rank 16, or purple and greens vs rank 20s. People have been bringing up matchmaking for a long time and it'll never really get fixed. I think the last time I saw them speak of matchmaking they basically said they were going to hide ranks before they "fixed" matchmaking, meaning no one will know who they're up against except by seeing how they're playing, which sounds to me personally like they just want to pretend there'll be nothing wrong once they hide it.
