Patches & Updates are significantly larger on Windows Store vs. Steam
I noticed every time there's a new update, the file sizes are significantly larger on the Windows Store than they are through Steam for the same content.
The most recent patch (3.7.2) was 73.17 MiB, while on Microsoft Store, it was 6.4 GiB.
The previous patch (3.7.1) was around like 130 MiB on Steam and 19 GiB on Windows Store.
The previous minor (3.7.0) was a bit larger on Steam (~400 MiB?), but like 21 GiB on Windows Store.
Why does this matter to me?
I like to play Dead By Daylight with friends that don't play it regularly like me on Steam, and as such I have to have the Windows Store version downloaded along side Steam using Xbox Game Pass, because there's no way to play Survive With Friends across Steam and Windows Store (PLEASE ADD THIS, I'D LOVE YOU VERY MUCH).
Anytime I'd like to play Dead By Daylight with friends, we have to either wait 45 mins for everyone to get it downloaded and installed or just not play. This is a turn off for them, as they see it as being too much of a hassle to play DBD, which makes me sad.
