Is there anything against Chest Defender Bubbas, or really any Chest Defending Killer?
Even though the person playing killer is trying to have fun or such, people always act like it's a horrendous thing and even report them for just defending the chest. I mean, is there any specific rule from BHVR that forbids defending the chest or something?

Let them protect the chest, i'm having so much fun when i'm playing against a Bubba doing this :) Just go in a basement to get my item and BOOM, downed by a bubba, it's so damn cute looking at him. Survivors are coming to the basement to save me and we all get a 5 man party in the basement, sadly, 4 people die during the party :')

No, you can't get banned for it but it is understandable why survivors would dislike going against it. I mean they don't really get to play the game, no chases, less blood points and they might not even black pip

I don't think I've ever had a game against a Chest Defender where I DIDN'T Black Pip. But I do understand the lack of bloodpoints and such, but a reprieve from the stress of the main game is sometimes refreshing, no?

Then you most likely played against me, since I've been a killer main since the Xbox release. Beast marks Bubba or just a Bubba in general? Because that's the Killer I was playing around the time I encountered a 'Beyoncette'

I can understand some people getting upset as they just want a normal game or they have a challenge or something they're working on but I personally love it. Working as a team and trying to get the chest without dying is a ton of fun. I'll black pip with little points any day to face more of them. I think I've seen maybe four in my almost 2 years of playing. I wish they were slightly more common. :/
If they ever added a new game mode I would love a 'Defend the Chest" objective.

There is nothing against defending a chest or standing by it. The ONLY things that you can report players for are: hacking, exploits, taking the game hostage or DC'ing (I think on the last one.) Camping, slugging, "tunneling" are things you can't report a killer for. In fact, I think it's easier for survivors to take the game hostage than the killer.

The only reason you should dislike chest-defender Bubba is if you're the kind of person to whine that somebody wants to farm. So if you only want "regular" games, and don't care what kind of fun anybody else wants to have, then something like this would probably bug you.
If you're like me and just like to play games to have fun and maybe build up a little bit of skill here and there, something like this shouldn't bug you.

The only issue I have with killers who do this is that matches are really boring when they play like that. That wouldn't be a problem if survivor lobbies weren't so long tho. They shouldn't be banned but it's just a little annoying for me. I hate waiting 15 minutes for a match just for the killer to sit in the basement the whole match lol.

I only have a problem with them when I'm trying to do a chest challenge or if I had a trophy that required me to open that chest. Otherwise I'm fine with them.

I had a game where it was a 4 stack SWF. They didn't do gens and I had to face camp each and every one of them to get the game progressing. They wanted to complain about it, I told them "complain all you want, you were taking the game hostage." And it was very, very annoying.

Last time I faced a basement defender (he even changed his steam name to "basement defender") with a friend of mine. 2 or 3 gens were done and we were curious if its another afk wraith waiting in the basement, just to see that cute insidious bubba standing right in front of the chest.
So our objective was clear: get that chest! He attacked every time we touched his chest and didnt hook us if he downed us. So we tried to open the chest again and again, until it finally opened. Meanwhile the other 2 randos just rushed the gens. We we're determined to take that medkit out of the basement (he had franklins), maybe even escape and take it as our price of victory. Well, the randos opened the gate and we died due to the EGC timer. But we got the medkit halfway up the basement stairs :D
tl;dr: Probably one of the best matches we had in a while was against a chest defender bubba. Sometimes its fun to mix things up, we didnt expect that at all.

By getting out the game and moving onto your next one where there's like a 99% chance you won't get a "farming killer."

Issue i have with it, its just a waste of time queueing into a match. I dont get any more bloodpoints than a usual match but i get none of the fun, just 5 gens and out. Its only marginally better than the afk wraiths since they chest guards might actually do something eventually but i would just rather have not done the match to begin with

Basement Defender Bubbas aren't farming in any capacity.
