Do y’all like the new hair physics?
Tbh, I don’t. Whilst I appreciate the updates to certain cosmetics (cough cough Meg’s new Gypsie Locks are beautiful) but removing almost all movement from hair pieces, ponytails, etc seems odd. But I also think some of the older hair meshes (Kate’s for example) seemed to match the heavily detailed textured look of DbD, whereas the new meshes appear to be attempting to be more realistic and smooth whereas the old mesh matched the game’s look so much more.
I’unno, it’s sort of felt like physics, in general, have been lessened for reasons, my bet’s on optimisation. But what’s y’all’s opinion?

Exaactly, I only want more movement of the hair, especially long and ponytails

I just want them to fix Laurie's hair, I don't even use her but it's always off putting so see her hair in a match.

I dont know. To be honest, most "movable parts" are bad. The weapon of Plague used to bounce around, Clown belly had weird muscle contractions for a very long time, when you move Kate with her double ponytails around, they always move the wrong direction, the gown style outfits of spirit and for a long time also Bubbas leather apron flipped up into the killers face... and remember Ghostface's PTB version of the original outfit?
I'm more happy when the physics stuff is kept simple and easy. Or working, but... well

What new hair physics? Is this in the upcoming update?

The only change I noticed is that Jane's ponytail doesn't move at all now, while all the other ponytails still bounce around like some fanservice anime breasts.

Hate it. Especially since Kate's hair looks bad now. I used to play her once in a while, now its on a rare occasion. Same goes with Meg's and Feng's hair, and others.
