Hitting a hooked survivor won't knock legion out of frenzy

Was Playing as legion (frank) in hawkins lab, with 2 addons that would make my frenzy last longer.
I have not attempted to see if it can be replicated.
While in frenzy, everytime I hit the Nea on hook it would not knock me out of frenzy
I also, could not pick up the laurie who was on the ground next to the hook.
Upon hitting the wall, I lost my ability.
I have never seen this before, I doubt this is intended.
Also, am on ps4
