Resent Chapter Idea
Heya folks! :D
As you probably saw on someone else's account, I said that there was a chapter idea I had been working on for a few weeks. Well, on my screen, it didn't show so just in case people had the same bug I did, I'm re-posting them here. So enjoy them while they stand! :D
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/669/Luke Kingsly.jpg https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/720/The Nameless.jpgFor those curious about backstories, abilities and perks, I have some ideas that might help. Let's start with The Nameless.
Her power, Shards of Blood will apply one of four status effects at random when she activates it. It can either apply exposed to all survivors for 10 seconds, blindness for 20 seconds, oblivious for 30 seconds, and finally it can give her a 12% speed boost for one minute. It will take a full minute to recharge.
For the animation that triggers her power, she should whip herself on the back or something along those line with a loud shriek of pain, which will then activate one of the different effects.
And now for her perks.
Blood for Blood; When people ignore you, a desire to give them punishment fills your mind.
When all generators are powered, the survivor who has been outside of the healthy status effect the longest will suffer from the exposed status effect and it will carry off to a different survivor if their total time of being healthy is less than another survivor. The effect will linger for 2/4/6 seconds.
"I'm not the person I once was. Time to prove it."
-The Nameless
Silent Prey; A quiet, yet aggressive path is commonly best in your mind.
You become obsessed with one survivor. They will not be revealed to the survivors until they are put on hook. When the obsession gets a Safe Hook Rescue or the obsession gets saved off the hook, both survivor's auras are revealed to you for 10/15/20 seconds.
"People can only live for so long. They can break in half that time. I should know."
-The Nameless
Violent Rage; Nothing can escape your firm judgement.
When a survivor is bound to die on their next hook, you gain a token. When all generators are powered, each token will increases your power recovery by 5/7/9%. You will lose a token if a survivor is killed or sacrificed. If you gain all four tokens without any sacrifices or deaths before the generators powered, you are able to kill all survivors by your hand. Your tokens will not increase or decrease if all generators are done.
"Nothing is going to stand in the way of the fire."
-The Nameless
Backstory;
No one ever knew who she was, but Linda Redwing sure did. At least, for a good chunk of her life. She stood as a beacon of hope for her family, but it was a misplaced light. As she started to pass her schooling, her family was hoping to teach her the true nature of her abilities by teaching her sword fighting.
After she finished her more advanced sections of education, she felt dizzy and unwell. She thought it was something simple, but eventually, she fell unconscious and collapsed on the floor. When Linda woke up again, she was held in chains and she had blood covering her.
As she screamed for help, no one that entered the room seemed willing to help her. They all had whips and knives and other weapons to torture and bring her down. Stabs, slashes and multiple blood spurts later, she agreed to do anything they requested, as long as they stopped.
Her first task as to kill the leader of an old assassin clan, but before any actions could be made, there was the smell of something burning. Before everyone knew what was happening, the whole place lit on fire.
The men and woman in the building were blaming Linda for the fire, thinking that she was responsible after they let her out. She denied it, but before she could reason, they started rushing at her.
Mere minutes later, and the fire had surrounded them. She eventually snapped, grabbed the nearest man and held him over the fire, burning him to death. She too was on fire, but she didn't care. She simply grabbed a whip and a mask to hide her old self.
Eventually, the place crumbled. There were no remains on the building. The only thing that was seen was a message on paper on the floor; "Now I'm free." This was also at the same time that the young lady that was Linda Redwing had completely vanished.
Now, for the survivor, Luke Kingsly.
His perks are as follows:
Self Sacrifice; Saving other people is all that matters to you.
If you take a protection hit for a survivor that recently got off the hook, you will gain a token up to a maximum of 3 tokens. Each token will increase your altruistic actions by 5/10/15%.
"Even a small injury can do so much."
-Luke Kingsly
No Guarantee; You know the costs, but you know how to save your friends.
When your within the terror radius and you unhook someone, you will fully heal that survivor and you will recover from any status effects unless they are from a hex perk.
"I've let them suffer once. Never again."
-Luke Kingsly
Karma's Right Hand; The longer death stays behind you, the smarter you become.
If you are being chased for 60 seconds, you gain a token up to a maximum of 5 tokens. Each token will decrease the killer's missed attack recovery by 5/10/15%. You will loose all tokens next time your put on hook.
"There is always something that changes."
-Luke Kingsly
Now here's his backstory.
Luke Kingsly was a kind man, who was able to manage multiple jobs. There was always something on his mind that made him usually late for his work, making that his one major flaw. That's when he quit his job in the bank and tried to find a new hobby. That's when he found fencing.
Fencing was proven to be his strong suit, seeing as was always paying attention, and it was a good way to keep his mind off of things. He even signed for tournaments and won in most of them.
Eventually, he got beaten by someone who was much more advanced. He felt dishonoured, upset and disgraced. He left to go to someplace quiet to train and hoped he could overcome his eventual defeat. He ended up finding the abandoned house next to the Crotus Prenn Asylum. I was left behind after the incident that happened over thirty years ago.
After he felt ready, she started walking a long trail back to his opponent to try and challenge him again, only to get lost on the way back thanks to some thick fog rolling in from behind him. When he re-traced his steps, Luke wound up back to where he was training before. Only this time, it seemed much more different.
Whew! And that's the whole Lashing Agony chapter! In total, it took me 4 hours and 45 minutes. Hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it!
