Can we remove the telekinesis from Overcharge?

I have no idea what this perk is supposed to do in it's current state. I guess it's supposed to be an anti-gen tap perk, except you can hit even when you get off the gen. The skill check will follow you. What? Are survivors ######### psychic?

I mean, tbf, Kate might have some telepathic powers or some ######### given her tome lore.

    People use overcharge?

And Im assuming you got Inspired to make this post by @Entity_Hugs posts since he absolutely hates the fact survivors can hit overcharge while running

I agree its broken as is, however overcharge is pretty useless anyway. Not completely useless just fairly useless.

I dont think Anyone would care except the 5 people who use overcharge.

No one uses overcharge, its one of the worst perks in the game. fixing this wont really change much

    Overcharge needs a rework imo

The reason it's there is so you can't completely ignore it like you can with other skill checks if you time it right to let go.

Is it weird? Yes, but it's there for a reason. It is exactly what you described: an anti-gen tap perk.

This should actually be how all skill checks work. It's dumb to let go of a gen and get a skill check at the same time.

I mean it's not always the case that survivors tap the gen in a chase. Sometimes they just let go right away because the killer is near or decided to do something else the instant they touch the gen. While yes, it would punish survivors that gen tap in a chase it'd also punish survivors that just let go of the gen for any other myriad of reasons.

It's dumb when you get a skill check right when you let go of the gen. Gen tapping needs fixing and is a separate issue but Overcharge should definitely not auto-fail if the survivor let's go. Overcharge 3 skill check is not always easy to hit, especially against Doc or a killer with Unnerving. Plus being able to hit that skill check while ALSO running from the killer is insanely hard to do consistently. So any survivor that can do it should be rewarded.
