I am getting annoyed because of survivors complaining about killers and vice versa

To be fair, I am a survivor main and I don't play killer at all. As we all know there is a lot of survivors and killers complaining about the other side. So let's talk about certain problems of both sides.

Camping can be an opportunity for the survivors. When killer is camping a hooked survivor it gets really easy to repair the rest of gens and escape. Escape can be hard for a hooked survivor, but that's why we have decisive strike and borrowed time, right? Camping is not even a good thing for a killer. You're just staying next to the Hook, you're not chasing anybody and you gain extremly low bloodpoints.

Tunneling is probably the only one good killers "toxic" tactic. It gives killer the possibility to eliminate a survivor really fast. Once again, you can just use DS.

I am not gonna talk much about slugging. It's just pointless for a killer. You are basically refusing to gain bloodpoints for hooking someone. I am wondering if you can actually rank up doing that. It's not even that problematic for survivors. Not many people uses unbreakable, but you can just recover and then wait for someone to help you.

Alright, now let's talk about NOED.

NOED is the only one perk I am talking about, that needs rework. It's so annoying when killer didn't hooked any survivor before gens were repaired, but he kills almost entire team in endgame because of one perk. It's overpowered when survivors play solo queue, but when you play swf it can be totally useless. The point is that when I'm playing with friends we always cleanse every dull totems before last gen is done.

Alright, let's talk about decisive strike.

Yes, it's a good perk. No, it shouldn't be nerfed. It's a good counter for a lot of killers strats, especially tunneling and camping (survivors obviously consider them as toxic strats). It's amazing perk that gives survivors second chance. Killers can camp and tunnel people all the time, but survivors can use DS once per game. Seems fair to me.

Yes hello I'd like a perk that

    instantly heals me

I'd like a perk that stuns the killer

I'd like a perk be activated every game

I'd also a perk that breaks the killers grasp

I'd like a perk that messes with the killers vision and gives me some time to run away

Oh its one perk ? Thats neat

Oh boy and it works well and synergizes with all my other meta perks

Nah this isn't overpowered because what if the killer looks at me(camping) or what if the killer decides to chase me (tunnling) no I need this to be fair.

    Noed ?

6 killers have basekit instadown attacks and 3 more can do it at range

But a easily countered mostly deactivated perk that only works after everyone is escaping that gimps the killers loadout forcing him to run with 3 perks all to give a killer a power that half the list already has for the last 20 seconds of the game

That's what you call overpowered ? Ur kidding me

I'm a survivor main, and I believe DS should get nerfed.

IMO DS should deactivate the moment the survivor repairs a generator, as if they're ready to repair a generator then they are ready to go back on the hook.

Maybe you're right. It's a good idea. I would never have thought of that.

Well, just so you understand, the reason killers slug is because it creates pressure. You said you never play killer so I understand why you dont get this right away, but its just a mathmatical fact that a killer doesnt have time to win 12 chases and get 12 hooks. If you manage to do that without slugging its not because youre a God tier killer, its because the survivors severly messed up and werent doung gens.

With that in mind killers have to create pressure on the survivors to get/keep them off gens. If you have the opportunity to slug 1 survivor and then immediately chase another thats 2 survivors not doing gens. If another survivor comes to pick the slug up, thats 3 not doing gens. Anytime you have 3 people not doing gens that extends the game out and you have time to capitalize on mistakes and get your hooks.

My recommendation is people should play both sides, it will not only help you understand things like this, but it will make you better as well playing the side you prefer.

Dude I play both sides and I understand and agree except the noed and ds first noed is fine as is but should probably get a rework just so it works better and more fair if a killer does bad they shouldnt get a guaranteed 3 to 4 kills but killer is also the HARDEST game mode and is really stressful so killers even if they 2 hook everyone and do really good one mistake can cost them any kills so I see noed as a good perk especially to guarantee a black pip and as for ds its a useless perk that needs a rework I stopped running it because when I do I either get slugged or caught as it runs out and when I dont run it im tunneled just bad luck ds should be permanent until someone else is hooked and should be situational like ok of the killer hooked everyone 2 times and had to camp or tunnel with a 99 gate ds shouldn't work because the other survs get a free escape im not gonna explain 100 percent what I think but to sum it up both perks are strong and EASILY comfortable and should get reworked to be situational and that doesn't make it utter trash or blatantly OP

Indeed. Hooking is the "primary goal" for killers, but it's also the fastest way to get a downed survivor back to a gen. That and picking up a survivor can carry some risk of its own.

So yeah, sometimes slugging is just better.

Finally! Someone who knows how to create their own pressure as killer!
