A day of MM stats compared to a Rank 1 streamer

For some more info here, as you can see I'm a rank 8 Killer and have played this game for about 90 hours. I haven't been able to get all the perks teachable yet. I don't have enough experience to have memorized every map yet. I still feel fairly new, in fact about half my killers are level 1 right now and not a single one of them is level 50 yet as I try to learn them.

Now for the past few days I've felt like I was facing way too many red ranked survivors and just felt overwhelmed by how difficult most games were, even on a killer I've been playing a lot of. Well, there's a rank 1 player who streams about the same time I play so I wanted to compare games and what ranks we faced.

This data was taken over a 4 hour period of time in which I played 13 games and the streamer played 16 games. We played at the same time and played on the same server.

Based on this data we faced relatively similarly ranked opponents. And that's a problem. This streamer said they have thousands of hours. They are rank 1. They have full builds on every killer. I on the other hand have 2 killers with a full build, the others with half builds at best, and am only rank 8.

I had the highest rank opponents being 4 rank 1 survivors while the highest the streamer got was a team of 2, 3, 4, 4.

Anyway this is somewhat of a venting post, but hopefully this helps point out that the matchmaking is very skewed. A killer player with a fraction of the time and half the rank of another shouldn't be facing similarly skilled players as that person. I hope the matchmaking gets a tweak because there are many games that feel pretty hopeless for me. When the game feels balanced in skill it's very fun, but there are too many games that pit me against players with much higher time and/or skill put into this game.

    The lack of response speaks volumes to me about how very little most people care about the killer's experience at middle ranks
