A pretty simple fix to Keys and a cool addition to DS

People say that Keys are "Overpowered" because it grants a free hatch escape once you find it, whether or not its open. A simple fix to this is to just as a animation that lasts for 2 seconds that shows the survivor putting the key in the hatch, then the jump-in animation starts instantly after that. It prevents someone from just camping hatch, t-bag the killer, and then jump in. This is a horror game, not a game with infinite BMs.


You can do the same with Decisive Strike. When the pickup animation begins, the second the skill check pops up, the survivor raises the wood piece, and stabs the killer in the back. If they fail the skill check, they fumble with the stick and drop it. If they save DS and don't use it at all, they do the same thing, and drop the wood. Its something purely cosmetic for DS, but is a fairly simple way to "fix" keys.
