I need an honest answer: Why do some killers repeatedly hit and face camp survs on the hook?
Disclaimer: I play on PS so not sure what the atmosphere is like on PC.

It's because some people have the desire to humilate others. You find those in every game. Not just DbD. It's just toxic behaviour.

They do it to be an #########.

Because they need therapy.4
-
They want us to become toxic survivors who teabag.
But we wont. Right?5 -
Imo it is just a killers way of tbagging. Some Survivors tbag for no reason, some killers hit and camp for no reason.3
-
No idea why they would do it in a public environment other than to be toxic. The only times I do it is when I'm playing with friends in Kill Your Friends and that's just to punish them
I know that I feel bad when I accidentally hit the hook survivor when I'm trying to hit the rescuer instead and I wish there was a way to let the hook survivor know that it wasn't intentional, but I'm sure they understand in that instance.

Well, sometimes killers will hit a survivor just after being hooked if the chase was really long but most wont camp, aside from that, most that do it are just toxic.

Just some good ol' BMing. Some people like to ruin everyone else's experience, which is nothing new to DBD. I've had a game like that happen when a Leatherface chased me for 3 generators straight. Stood there and hit me until I was sacrificed. I don't purposefully get the killer's attention and loop him/her, but if you're trying to kill me you're going to have to work for it!

It's BM.

I'm not talking about toxic survs that probably deserve some toxicity thrown their way. What I am wondering is, why killers do it in general, for folks who aren't doing anything toxic? I'm currently rank 3 and see this a lot. Is this the influx of noobs perhaps? Why would a killer intentionally want to get less BP?Disclaimer: I play on PS so not sure what the atmosphere is like on PC.
You mentioned Rank 3, people on that rank are scarred because of toxi survivors so they have lost all sense of empathy for any survivor

Well i do it only when the survivor t-bagged me. We haven't any other way to troll them so... But i never face camp a good playing survivor. However if one survivor made me run as a ba****d before to get caught + pallet looped ( which i do not consider as an exploit because killer can break pallets ) i stay not far to him till he die, patrolling around, which some survivors consider as camping. But hey it's fair game. You made me run once no way i let you escape. But yeah some players just want to be toxic and ruin your experience.

I only hit folks on the hook if they were clearly toxic, or if I think they equipped Decisive Strike. I hate both groups and use a single hit to communicate this to them.5

I'll sometimes do it if I have my volume up a bit too loud. If you hit the survivor in mid-scream it terminates the scream and saves my ears.

Because i know somebody will come to the rescue, and im ready to Ambush!

Btw I had even more complex situations than simple hook and attack. For example, one time when I was the last survivor, Amanda decided to carry me to the thing where I could remove my trap. I did that. After that she wanted me to work on a nearby gen. Which I did. Then she attacked me. I thought It was an accident. But it happened multiple times. Then I thought she wanted me to go or do something else but no. She insisted on that one gen after I gave up and let her kill me.
But to be honest some of the hilarious experiences I had were like a plot and it kinda makes games more fun. Tho, being hooked and being forced to listen to the trapper clicking his traps or leatherface going wild with his chainsaw, and being hit until you die is plain boring.1 -
You were toxic. When it comes to OchiDO’s minions I’m not sure if I should hit them over and over to annoy them or leave them alone because they want the attention.0

I never understood the concept of hitting a hooked survivor like I do not understand tbagging. Now I have accidently hit a hooked survivor when I have missed another survivor, and if that was you, I do apologize.

The same reason some survivors like to teabag and be dicks?0

I don't normally hit people on the hooks.
If I did, it was probably because they had Decisive.

I know your pain! I too as a fellow console user get hit to death (literally) on the hook till I die for no reason. Now that I think about it, it’s mostly by doctors lol1
-
I only do it to toxic survivors.
Defining toxic in this situation as "someone who unhooks their friend right next to me. Someone who tries to use an exploit. Someone who I previously went up against that told me to kill myself or similar." Just generally anyone who goes out of their way to intentionally ruin the experience of other players.

Oh, and if a survivor destroyed my thrill of the hunt when that was the only hex I was using. I will camp that person and hit them until they are in their "mash space to struggle" phase, then leave and let someone unhook them. Basically this is just to communicate my displeasure at having my extra bloodpoints broken.

Well why are some toxic Survivors toxic?
Because you don't necessarily need toxicity to create toxicity.Same goes for those Killers.

Probably they had issues with their parents because they tried to give them a radio or a hairdryer as a toy while in the bathtub.

In all honesty it’s because they are new at the game and don’t know things. Mostly anger or boredom so they think they won’t “lose the kill”0

I hit ppl on the hook if the was toxic for me.Second thing is when left one gen and i know i don't have a chance for next kill and i try say rest of survs make last gen and gtfo! Also i hit surv when ge is last on hook and help not going to him and this is end game but he still strugle dont want let it go and start next game just for 800points wast my time and hers.0

Because they have been bullied in their previous matches and vent now.
I know it sucks, but killers are just humans too, treat them right and they will treat you right2
