Xbox One - Deathslinger chain breaking after successfully shooting Survivor

- Boot Dead By Daylight.
- Select Play As Killer.
- Play as The Deathslinger in a public match.
- In-game, successfully shoot a Survivor.
- Notice the chain immediately breaking and retracting, despite the Survivor screaming in pain from the hit.
Characters played (Haddonfield):
- Deathslinger
- Hex: Devour Hope (cleansed at the time)
- Monitor & Abuse (increased terror radius at the time)
- Gearhead (active at the time)
- Discordance (inactive at the time)
- Feng Min
- Dead Hard (not Exhausted at the time)
- Decisive Strike
- Borrowed Time
- Botany Knowledge
First time seeing this happen. It's very hard to tell if the Survivor used Dead Hard.
