Can't buy auric cells

For some reason the shop is not letting me buy auric cells. It doesn't matter which pack it is 500, 1100 and 2250 are not working. It always tells me:
Purchase Failed
The purchase has failed but you were not charged for this purchase.
Please try later again.
I waited some good time now and its not working. I also restarted the game and my PC a couple of times and its just not working.

This may be a silly question but have you checked to make sure the correct payment option is being used? Like if you recently got a new card, the expired version may still be listed. Have you tried different payment methods to make sure it's not a bank issue?
