Killer idea "The Puppeteer"

I've always liked the idea of a killer who can control manikins and use them to chase survivors so I made a killer idea from it. The point is to mainly use the "puppets" to monitor and chase survivors rather than the actual killer itself however it can still be done thanks to his secondary power even tho he only has 95% movement speed. if some of you like this idea i'll add on to it and of course recommendations are welcomed!

Power: phantom strings

The obsession to control others has been molded into the power to control objects connected to your past life. By looking at the desired puppet you wish to control press and hold the activation button to gain control of the puppet for a short duration. While controlling a puppet you become invisible and gain the undetectable status effect. If a survivor is looking at a puppet you cannot control it unless it is restless, your puppets become restless when they are observing or being observed by survivors for too long. When a survivor is in sight of a puppet their arua is revealed to you. When you gain control of a restless puppet that puppet gains a tremendous burst of speed until they hit a survivor or you stop controlling them.


Secondary power: cut strings

When a survivor is in sight of a puppet you can stop their motor functions for a short duration, once that survivor is hit or after a few seconds they regain control of themselves. You may also instead cut the strings of a survivor who is close to you for a shorter duration and a reduced cool down. You cannot cut the strings of a survivor who is observing you or a puppet.

power values

  • The trial starts with 2 puppets scattered randomly in the map
  • Puppets have a terror radius of 16 meters and 115% movement speed while being controlled and an “unnerving” radius of 16 meters when not being controlled. (similar to huntress or Freddy lullaby)
  • You can gain control of a puppet for 45 seconds, while doing so you become invisible and gain the undetectable status effect. 
  • Puppets have a Cool down of 25 seconds after being used. 
  • Power activation time 3 seconds, when activating you are not slowed and the puppet starts leaking blood. If a survivor looks at the puppet it cancels the activation unless the puppet is restless.
  • If a survivor is standing in front of a puppet within 16 meters their aura is revealed to you 
  • You cannot gain control of a puppet if a survivor is looking at it within its unnerving radius unless that puppet is restless.
  • A puppet is restless if it has been looked at or has revealed a survivor's aura for a total of 40 seconds. This does not apply to hooked survivors
  • When you gain control of a restless puppet it gains 150% movement speed until you hit a survivor or when you lose control of the puppet.

Secondary power:

  • Freeze a survivor in place for 5 seconds whose aura is revealed by a puppet
  • Freeze a survivor who is within 12 meters of your sight for 2 seconds
  • You may not cut the strings of a survivor who is looking at you or a puppet.
  • Cool down of 80 seconds, if you cut the strings of a survivor in your sight the cool down is instead 60 seconds.
  • Activation speed 1.25 seconds no movement speed penalties.
