New Killer/Survivor Idea

This is an idea I had for a new killer and survivor, the names are made up and may be changed if needed.

George Lawson/The Yeti
George Lawson was a known adrenaline junkie and an avid outdoors man. He came from a very rich family, but he became friends with a poor boy named Connor Davis, and they loved playing hide and seek together. George was an excellent seeker, and learned to anticipate the actions of the hider, determining to always have the advantage. Sensing their friendship was slowly fading, George invited Connor to climb Mt Everest with him before they parted for college. They were attempting to cross an ice wall when an avalanche triggered. Connor was able to quickly move out of the way, but George was caught in the avalanche. George knew his best friend was going to come rescue him. Hours went by and still no hint of rescue; he thought his friend had left him for dead. Terribly frostbitten, and almost ready to succumb to hypothermia, he heard a dark whisper as if someone was offering him a chance to get revenge. Something inside him rose up and it wasn't going to let hypothermia or frostbite stop him. After freeing himself from the snow, he saw he landed near the base camp and began to kill everyone there. As he was about to kill Connor, he felt a brief pause as memories began to flood his mind. Before he could reject these thoughts, Connor stabbed him in the neck with his ice ax. George was forced to retreat into the elements. Removing the ice ax from his neck, he vowed to never let anything distract him from getting his revenge. He heard the whisper again, this time fully accepting the darkness into his heart.

Strategic killer, his unique perks allow him to locate hidden survivors and focus on the chase.
Weapon - Ice Ax

Power - Arctic Chill - uses a specially crafted gem created by the Entity to draw devastating frost from the Spirit World to hinder survivors. When using Arctic Chill, the Yeti can be Lightburned.
New mechanic: Hypothermia - reduces all interaction speeds (vaulting, repairing, healing, cleansing, unhooking, searching, opening, etc). In order to recover from Hypothermia, the afflicted survivor needs to huddle with another survivor or warm up at burn barrels around the map. Higher tier exposure requires more time to recover.
Tier 1 - 2% interaction speed reduction
Tier 2 - 4% interaction speed reduction, gains Exhaustion, survivor will start shivering
Tier 3 - 6% interaction speed reduction, gains Exhaustion and Hindered, survivor's shivering gets louder
Add-ons can increase range, further penalties, and grant resistance to Lightburn.

Mori - uses Arctic Chill to completely freeze the survivor and smash them with the Ice Ax

Perk: Infrared Vision - while standing still, grants the ability to see the aura of any survivor in direct line of sight. 30 second cool down when a survivor is spotted. Also reveals closets and vaulting areas in range.
Tier 1 - see aura if within 20 meters
Tier 2 - see aura if within 28 meters
Tier 3 - see aura if within 28 meters, spotted survivor becomes Exposed for 10 seconds.

Perk: No Distraction - while in a chase, reduces any distractions that can cause you to lose your prey. Anticipate your prey's next move when they break line of sight.
Tier 1 - turns off notifications of other survivor's actions beyond 50 meters, see prey's aura for 1 second when they break line of sight.
Tier 2 - turns off notifications of other survivor's actions beyond terror radius, see prey's aura for 2 seconds when they break line of sight.
Tier 3 - only see notifications of your prey, see prey's aura for 3 seconds when they break line of sight.

Perk: Pallet Sabotage - advantageous preparations before the hunt allows for pallets to become sabotaged. Causes 1 random pallet to become sabotaged at the start of the game. Sabotaged pallets break instantly when dropped and do not stun the killer if the pallet is dropped on them. Also grants the ability to see the aura of all pallets inside your terror radius. Sabotaged pallets show up as red pallets to the killer.
Tier 1 - Additional pallets become sabotaged for each repaired generator.
Tier 2 - Additional pallets become sabotaged for each repaired generator and hooking a survivor.
Tier 3 - Additional pallets become sabotaged for each repaired generator, hooking a survivor, and when survivors become fully healed.

Connor Davis
Connor Davis' only childhood friend was George Lawson. They played a lot of hide and seek, but Connor was always being found by George. He was eventually able to learn when the seeker was close and be able to run away at the right moment. While in his teenage years, Connor started to get into more dangerous hobbies, one of which being parkour. After experiencing a broken bone during a fall, Connor became more cautions and learned how to break a fall. He later accepted a job doing odd repairs around the town. It was long hours, but he learned to have fun with it. In a short amount of time, he was able to do any repair with great efficiency. It kept him very busy and left little time for friends and hobbies, as he needed the money for college. In an attempt to rekindle his friendship with George, he accepted his childhood friend's invitation to climb Mt. Everest. After watching his friend be consumed by an avalanche, he was forced to take the slow route back down to base camp, near where the avalanche rested. A snowstorm started up that greatly hindered his progress by several hours. When he finally reached the base camp, they found several dead bodies, and a strange beast among them. This creature charged at him with the intent to kill. He realized it was George, so Connor tried to calm him. It worked for a brief second, but Connor was ultimately forced to stab the beast in the neck before he could continue his rampage. It promptly retreated and disappeared, with the ax still in its neck. He felt that something evil had taken control of his friend's body. Connor regained his strength, and set out to save his friend, this Yeti. When base camp lost contact with him, they assumed he was killed by the Yeti, or succumbed to the elements in his grief.

Skilled Mechanic - his unique perks allow him to repair generators and escape the killer.

Perk: Parkour Expert - expertise in parkour allows him to quickly vault over ledges and brush off long falls. Increases vault and pull down speeds by 4%
Tier 1 - stagger effects reduced by 50%.
Tier 2 - stagger effects reduced by 75%.
Tier 3 - stagger effects reduced by 100%.

Perk: Just Another Repair Job - increases the speed and efficiency of repairs.
Tier 1 - Increases repair speed by 5% and efficiency of toolbox repairs by 5%
Tier 2 - Increases repair speed by 7% and efficiency of toolbox repairs by 7%
Tier 3 - Increases repair speed by 10% and efficiency of toolbox repairs by 10%

Perk: Calculated Escape - triggers when the killer is nearby. While Calculated Escape is active, stopping repairs while a skill check is in progress will not cause the generator to explode, provided the skill check was not attempted and the meter has not gone beyond the success zone. Provides a speed boost of 150% for 3 seconds if you run after stopping repairs or after you repair the generator.
Tier 1 - causes Exhaustion for 60 seconds, 12 meters range
Tier 2 - causes Exhaustion for 45 seconds, 24 meters range
Tier 3 - causes Exhaustion for 30 seconds, 36 meters range

Arctic Chill would be an aura-based ability. The Yeti would be the slowest killer, barely keeping up with running survivors, so he must slow them down to hinder them and eventually be able to catch up to them. Being stuck in the avalanche gave him ice-based powers. For this to be effective, he would also need a fairly large terror radius. The Hypothermia status effect would be tier-based similar to Madness, slowly progressing as along as the survivor has the effect. Hypothermia makes survivors perform slower on all interactions speeds and makes them slightly louder based on what tier they are in.

Various activities affect how much Hypothermia progresses.

    • In normal conditions, progression is -1% at Tier 1, 2% at Tier 2, and 5% at Tier 3.
    • In the terror radius; +3% progression.
    • While running, -3% progression.
    • Crouching, Walking (Slow), or Standing Still, 0% progression
    • Hiding inside a closet. +1% progression

    OUTSIDE TERROR RADIUS
Tier 1: -4% when running, -1% when slow or still, 0% when inside a closet
Tier 2: -1% when running, 2% when slow or still, 3% when inside a closet
Tier 3: 2% when running, 5% when slow or still, 6% when inside a closet

    INSIDE TERROR RADIUS
Tier 1: -1% when running, 2% when slow or still, 3% when inside a closet
Tier 2: 2% when running, 5% when slow or still, 6% when inside a closet
Tier 3: 5% when running, 8% when slow or still, 9% when inside a closet

Arctic Chill can also be channeled to blast survivors with devastating frost. Progression depends on how much the ability is charged. 1 second charge: 10% progression, 2 second charge: 15% progression, 3 second (max) charge: 20% progression. While charging up Arctic Chill, the killer can be Lightburned due to borrowing energy from the Spirit World, similar to how the Nurse can be Lightburned when charging up Blink.

Burn Barrels can be found around the map at random, ("Warm Up") providing -20% progression per second while directly interacting with the Burn Barrels. Afflicted survivors can also be warmed up by other survivors at the same pace per survivor warming them up (similar to how healing and repairing is faster with more people).

When a survivor reaches Tier 2, they begin to shiver, making slightly more noise than normal, but quieter than an injured survivor. The noise produced by shivering actually replaces sounds from being injured because the cold numbs the pain. When in Tier 3, the shivers get louder, being louder than an injured survivor, and survivors receive the Hindered status effect, which reduces movement speed, for as long as the survivor remains in Tier 3.

    Additional ideas and revisions

Infrared Vision could also be triggered whenever the killer's power is used, revealing the auras of all survivors that would be in the killer's line of sight when the power is used for 5 seconds. This could be useful to some killers, but not others. Increased tiers could also affect the cool down timer.

Trapper/Hag/Pig - Setting a trap, picking up a trap (Trapper), or teleporting to a trap (Hag)
    Wraith - cloaking or uncloaking
Hillbilly/Leatherface - revving up the chainsaw
Nurse/Doctor - charging up Blink or Carter's Spark
    Shape - stalking
Huntress/Clown - winding up a projectile or refilling supply
Freddy - pulling a survivor into a dream

No Distraction could be an obsession-based perk, where the focus is put entirely on the obsession. Chasing a non-obsession would have a lesser effect.

Pallet Sabotage would probably be better sabotaging one pallet per repaired generator, and increased tiers could instead sabotage larger numbers of pallets at the start of the match.

Parkour Expert could probably have it's vault speed reduced or a cool down added (not Exhaustion)

Repair Job is probably good as it is.

Calculated Escape would probably be better with all interactions, not just generators. The idea for this perk is to quickly get away from the killer during an interaction to avoid being pulled off. For interactions that require skill checks (such as generators and healing), stopping the interaction before reaching the success zone will not count as a failed skill check, meaning it won't notify the killer or cause regression. Attempting the skill check before it reaches the success zone or allowing the meter go beyond the success zone will still notify the killer and cause regression. The interaction interrupt will work regardless of Exhaustion.

I like the killer lore and it would be a great reason for a new snow map. Some of the perks are not great and wouldn't be received well but I'll focus on the ones I did like.

The killer perk pallet sabotage sounds fun. I think the numbers are a little high. Like tier 1 could be seeing pallet auras in ur terror radius, tier 2) 1 pallet will break and not stun.....tier 3) 2 pallets ext.

I like parkour expert but the numbers do seem a little high especially if there's no cool down. Cuz I can see the loops it would open up on drops where stairs are kinda close to the hole (I thought of the boat in the swamp).

I couldn't really finish reading the survivors lore, it didnt pull me in like the killers did, but I thought the survivors didn't correspond with the killer (excluding the licensed characters)
