My thoughts on reveal candidates
Gonna rate each killer based on how likely I think it is.
1. Xenomorph:
"The space roaches" are known for crawling through vents and being the perfect organism. Alien is my favorite franchise but I dont think it would be good in dbd, the only thing I could guess it would do is Crouch and crawl into vents. Basically a slightly different demigorgon. 2/10.
2. Pinhead.
"C*ck and ball torture (CBT), from Wikipedia the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit". From what I heard pinhead is more of a masochist than a killer. But there is plenty to work with. 6/10.
3. Jason
"A lot of classic killers seem to be stalkers, what's with that?". It would be like Michael Myers, but they are very popular and recognizable. But Legal issues talked about plenty of times. 5/10
4. The blob
"Beware of the blob. it creeps and leaps and glides and slides, across the floor right through the door and all around the halls. A splotch a Blotch, beware of the blob." 0/10
5. Pennywise
"Who gave the clown AA?". Pennywise is a famous cult killer with mind boggling powers. The possibilities could make him a quite different killer, and a welcome addition. 7/10
6. Candyman
"Candyman x5" . I honestly have never seen Candyman, but he seems to have quite the following. But the Bees speak for them selves. ~90 mil/10
7. Chucky
"Who do voodoo". Was directly stated not to be considered due to technicalities of the game. Great movies though. 0/10
8. Predator
"One ugly son of a #########". the opposite of the Alien, an honorbound race of hunters. Many tools such as celtic spears, discs and armblade. Enjoys hunting humans, makes a easy transition to dead by daylight. 4/10
That's all the candidates I can think of.

The devs love to tease us with their reveal. From the tweet where they miss spelled "bee" and the fact he has a movie coming out soon, I think it's candyman.
However years ago they dropped a big hint they were getting The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers. Then it was discovered the owner of the Creeper's IP rights is a pedophile.

Random thought (doesnt fit with the classic thing though so not this chapters of course) I wonder how the monster in "A Quiet Place" could work. No real vision, but sounds pinging around like sonar....hrmm
Rushling grass shows to give an idea of the map to move around....hrmm....something to ponder

That's quite similar to how the Xenomorph would see. But it wouldn't be fun to play as. On that note, that is such a double edged sword it would make Xeno unique. See walking/running survivors footsteps through the wall, but lose it as soon as they crouch away.

Yeah. I sort of picture black and white vision on the main object (so you can navigate) and red pulses or noise like sound waves pinging off.
I see this more an a "Quiet Place" place monster thing, BUT, I could easily see it working for xeno as well. Interesting.

Unless Tony Todd has some dark secrets that get revealed then no. I was just referancing a time when we really thought we were getting a particular licensed killer and something interfered.

The Creeper would be cool. But...yeah, be a lot of work to seperate him from the....news stories...
