    I would say it is anti-slug perk. Typically, when you think of second chance perks, they're perks like ds, borrow time, dead hard, adrenaline because those perks activate in the chase and extend the chase by a lot in some cases. With that being said, slugging is very common so soulmate could be a common counter to killers like Oni, Billy or Myers. It is great that survivor get good perks... but what about killer perks. they feel kinda lackluster.
