Please, explain me Repressed Alliance
Ok, just saw how this perk works, you need to repair a generator for a total of 60/70/80 seconds so you can block one gen for 30 seconds.
That must be the most useless perk I ever seen
1- The first level is the best one since it only takes 60 seconds instead of a entire generator, what makes no sense, it should be the opposite, 80/70/60 since you need to work LESS to activate this perk.
2- Why would we want to block a gen since our main objective is complete them?

To block it from being Pop’ed bruh

Imagine the situation: you have 80% gen done ,the killer hooked the survivor, you are not gonna finish the gen because he is next you and he has a pop. You use the perk and in this scenerio the killer must wait 30 seconds and patrol that gen to pop it and waste a lot of time while other survivors can do a different gen in the meantime.

I'm actually losing brain cells from reading posts from people trying to claim that this perk is good in any way...
Even if they made it so that it blocked only the killer from interacting with the gen, it would still be a terrible perk...

Dev #1: Killers want Ruin and Thrilling Tremors to synerg-
Dev #2: YOU CAN'T. BECAUSE...UH...*scribbles onto a post-it* I was just given a memo from the higher ups. There's this Survivor perk we're totally adding to the game that blocks gens so it pauses regression. Yeah. That's it.

But what if the killer has Hex: Ruin and you block the gen, Would it still regress? and if it does that is a really big counter to Repressed Alliances.
All in all this perk seems very situational

Peanits confirmed that when the gen is blocked by the entity the gen is not regressing 🥰

someone doesn't play high ranks and understand how significant blocking a gen for 30 seconds can do to a killer with POP
1 -
That answers my question. Thank you

Ok but why the time needed to activate the perk increase instead of decrease?

I dunno, maybe for use it wisely, also maybe for not sandbagging other survivors...

It hard counters Pop, which is literally the best gen slow perk in the game currently and ran by 9/10 killers meaning you will almost always get value out of it. It prevents the killer from getting a crucial gen saving Pop kick. It lasts long enough that if he waits it out yall get another gen done for free and he loses all pressure. If he leaves it then now it comes out ready to finish without being regressed at all.
If Pop wasn't meta then yeah this perk wouldn't be that great. However it is, so this perk is quite good if used properly.

It's actually 80/70/60, so the third level is still the best.

So the wiki is bugged

I'll let the owner know.

More likely simply incorrect - people sometimes get numbers mixed up, especially when they're rushing to get all the information up there as fast as possible for those that can't access the PTB. I checked in-game though, and tier III is definitely 60 seconds, while tier I is 80.

I told the owner, it's fixed now.

Awesome, thanks for that 😊

Ok thanks

Even so thats very situational

Pop is the second most used perk behind BBQ. Even then, RA will prevent the Killer from kicking your gen just normally to regress it.
RA is useful in any match(preventing regular kicks) and can waste a ton of the Killer's time if the gen they wanted to to use Pop on is blocked so they have to go kick a much less desirable gen.
It's even good vs Ruin because blocked gens prevent regression. If Nobody has been able to clear ruin yet and the Killer comes to chase you off a gen, RA it and it'll keep the gen saved for 30 seconds while Ruin is still up.

I run it for one reason- it can really screw Freddy over. Considering how friggin often I see him at red ranks it lives on my load out now and I love it to pieces.

Its supposed to stop the killer from kicking the gen, but it is currently worthless.

Its basically very situational for very little reward. Counters Pop and Ruin... and that's kinda it.
Good troll value though. 10/10

I just dont think its worth it because of the 60 seconds. Thats 1 and a half gens if multiple people are on the same one

I think that's completely fine. Have to work a bit to get the perk activated and save it for when needed. If it was lower, you'd have people constantly blocking gens and the Killer just won't be able to touch them.
Imagine 4 people all with repressed alliance at 40 seconds activation. They'd just cycle their gen blocks and the Killer would never get any regression in.
