Another DLC and no new good perks.. embarrassing at this point
I mean at this point it is no suprise that the new perks coming aren't great, or even good, but this is becoming a streak going on far too long now behaviour..
Is it really that hard to come up with something actually useful perks ?

They are usefull. If you dont like it, dont use it.

I mean it's not as bad than Ash perks.

Come up with a better and non OP idea then. At a rate of 6 perks per 3 months pls

The killer perks are trash yes...
But the survivors perks omg top tier anti meta

Am I the only one who thinks this is partially the community's fault?
Everytime a perk which sounds decent even only on paper, people will instantly complain in the forum about it even about perks that are not really that usefull. recent examples are any means, breakout...
Killers dont want survivors to get new good perks and vice versa.

I think you need to get rid of this mentality, all just players and nothing else.
Seems like the perks are meh again and the killer is too.

Who complains of by any means ######### 😂 I could understand breakout but any means neccesary really? Thats like complain about monstrous shrine.
About perks I think 89% if not 99,9% of the players think that new survivors perks are drastically better than killer ones.

Given the rate at which we get new killers/survivors making perks that are good without being OP would be daunting. Many of the perks they come out with aren't bad ideas. They just have to many restrictions to be really useful.

Soul Guard and Repressed Alliance can lead one to be quite mischievous...

People did complain about Any Means when the Oni PTB was released. They didn't realise that you could, you know, just break the pallet, they just started complaining about how OP it would be in a SWF.

Arent you sure it wasnt clickbait and trolling post?

yeah on the day they announced amn a lot of people complained here in the forums about that perk.

Nope, they were serious, people just like to call things OP on here without any real evidence.

They need to veer off making new perks for a while.
If BHR said "Ok. We got like...what...50 perks for killer alone in this game. We're going to stop all perk production and focus on enviroment or making decent offerings" I would be happy.
I mean, I LIKE perks. and seeing new perks with a new killer is cool but I'd rather the very underdeveloped stuff like the empty maps, survivor tools or offerings get looked at now. Maybe even enviromental hazards.
hell. if they worked on those things, they would open up the door for new perks that can tackle or play off them more.

Killer perks are def terrible. Alternative versions of perks we already have tgat either counter themselves or are super niche situations you can't control and still do the job worse than perks we already have. Death bound might be a maybe though to be honest hopping on the same gen as someone I healed is indeed pretty common. We don't need knockoff sloppy that would be worse even if it applied on every hit instead of niche hits that only really happen in swf. We certainly don't need to bring a free perkslot for the survivors either.
Survivor perks are all great, I can see all of them being run frequently. The obsession visibility ones probably the worst but even it is still useable enough. Get that STBFL counter perk along with an info perk. Also great vs dying light not that anyone runs it.

Yep, you better believe people cried about AMN when it was first revealed. And let's not forget, the devs actually listened to them: AMN was given a nerf, even though it was already never going to break into the meta. People on here complain about awful perks with a straight face all the time. The same thing happened to Autodidact - bad, still nerfed after PTB complaints. And for the Legion PTB multiple people claimed Distortion, lol, Distortion, was busted too.

Biggest problem to getting really good perks is indeed the playerbase. I dont remember if it was @peanits or @almo that said, (and this isnt word for word quote) that they were hesitant to make something powerful for fear of being seen as pay to win. (Please correct me if i am wrong, i dont want to put words in anyones mouths)
On one hand i agree with them, look at mettle of man, on the other, you have DS which is arguably one of, if not THE strongest survivor perk in terms of how its meer existance influences gameplay. And yet it is a licensed character perk and not available with shards (except in shrine every once in awhile). No one complains about that perk being pay to win.
I would conpletely understand not wanting to give really strong perks that are locked behind a paywall. But at least give us something good on the characters you can purchase with shards. Please!
