The new map looks AMAZING! There's only one problem...
WHERE THE *F* DO I GO??
Once again, another indoor map causes mass confusion and frustration for survivors. The game's mechanics clearly are built around an open outdoor map:
- Generators have tall poles with lights at the top, letting you know from far away where they are
- Terror radius is a .. well radius around the killer to let you know when they are close.
Those two fall apart when you can't see the poles, and you can't tell if the killer is on the same floor as you.
Will you eventually master the map after playing it a ton? Of course, then it won't be as big an issue. But for newer players, this just leads to extreme frustration. Getting caught out because you were lost is just not engaging at all. It feels like you're playing against the map design, rather than the killer.
What I'd like to see are more clues to where a generator is and how the terror radius works on indoor maps. What about visible cables that go from gen to gen in a daisy chain so you know where the closest one is? Or a terror radius heartbeat that sounds different if the killer is on the floor above or below you?
By no means am I a survivor main whining about how hard the game is... quite the opposite. The difference in lethality between indoor maps and outdoor maps is just night and day.. at least in non-red ranks.

That sounds like an amazing advantage, fellow Killer main! Happy hunting!

There's always a problem with sounds on the Z-Axis.
Terror radius might be goofed up for you, but at the same time the killer can't tell if the sounds they're hearing are right in front of them, above, or below.

The map actually seems awful for killers.
And indoor map that is massive and takes a long time to patrol gens, seems pretty bad so far

From what I've played, it's just like the other indoor maps. Easy as hell for killer unless the survivors have memorized it, which no one has so far.

i played the map one and die but looks cool tho.

Well they say that the lights are off or flickering in rooms where an unfinished Generator resides.
And i know The Game has signs pointing towards Generator locations.
Does the new map not have any flickering lights near Generators?

I had the same problem with Lery's when I didn't know the map, it's just a matter of getting used to it I think.

Certain killers love indoor maps. GF, Mikey, Pig, Wraith. Stealth killers because by the time you have line of sight they are already in melee range. Killers like Billy hate indoor because there's no room to sprint from gen to gen. Nurse its a double edged sword. She can go up and down floors but theres plenty of los blockers and if you want to cancel a long blink by clicking downward, you might end up going through the floor. Trapper can do well on indoor maps provided theirs tall grass but id rather have out door ones.
