Does Final Judgment cancel escaping through exit gate or is it visual bug ?

Welcome . At the beginning I want to say I don't have footage because it happened so fast I realized later . I used Final Judgment and on my screen David I killed had escape icon so my question is was it visual bug or even though mori started after David escaped it somehow cancelled his escape ?     If done correctly, Final Judgement should cancel everything. Especially the Survivors occupation and next birthday.

    @Angelicus23 I didn't look at that time but IIRC something popped up but I was more focused on finding last survivor so can't say for sure .

    Did it count as a survivor escape, a successful sacrifice, or both?

    @Exerlin When I asked in chat they actually asked me " What escape " so I assumed they didn't pay attention to the icon but David was already crawling out and my meter for Final Judgment decided to fill anyway + when I looked when match ended icon was still as he got killed
