What are some changes you'd like to see in DBD?
What aspects of DBD would you like to see changed or improved? I'd personally like to see a overhauled ranking system implemented, as the current one isn't really cutting it.

Agreed, the pip system needs a complete overhaul.

more perk buffs/nerfs to shake up the meta
its been such a long time since we’ve seen any notable perk changes

Grinding for perks. There are too many now.

I'd like to see voice chat implemented for solos, then buff killer to be competitive. Don't tell me about the multi language barrier, see deceit, which asks you what language you speak and then puts you with others that speak the same.

Do you mean like F13's voice chat where the Killer can hear the Survivors and vice versa?
The emblem system definately needs to be looked at. All I get at rank 1 is Brutal unless I kill everyone. Even when I hold the gens for several minutes, cut people like crazy, spend 90% of the match in a chase, I still get Brutal unless I wipe. And we all know there needs to be a reward for getting to rank 1. Maybe 100 Auric Cells per month for getting to rank 1 for both Killer and Survivor?

100% ranking system overhaul

FOV options, FOV options and FOV options. Get rid of shadowborn or repurpose it, and give killers the option to add up to 15 extra degrees to their field of view. That's literally all I want at this point. A change as simply and small as this would go such a long way for so many people.

- A comprehensive UI/UX overhaul.
- A more friendly new player experience that doesn't drive potential players away immediately.
- A rework of the Bloodweb system that makes the grind less of a Sisyphean nightmare, puts multiple reasonable perk build options in new players' hands inside of a single-digit hour commitment, and makes it reasonable for veteran players to maintain more than a small handful of characters with full perk libraries.
- An overhaul of the emblem system into something that is not counterintuitive to the game's core loop and doesn't require a spreadsheet to keep straight in your head.
- Rebalancing for some of the more problematic powers/items/add-ons/perks/offerings, most notably moris and keys.
- Overhauls of the most issue-heavy maps.
- Rework of the struggle mechanic.
- Incentives to go along with seasonal ranks, devotion rollovers, and prestiging.
- Remakes of terminally weak killers.
- Functional, MMR-based cross-platform matchmaking.
- A move to a portable account-based system, a la Fortnite, that can be used cross-platform.
- Review of the Archives, with an eye toward ensuring that challenges do not incentivize negligent play.
- More serious punishments for malicious players.
- Basic game options, such as a resolution setting, FOV, brightness, colorblind options, and reticules for ranged attacks.

I want the game to be friendlier to new players ("new" as in just-downloaded-the-game new), because it's the first few matches that decide whether they're staying or not. Right now new players are placed at a massive disadvantage: in their first few matches they'd only have 1 or 2 perk slots and a very small pool of perks, possibly against players with a full build. So what we need is to make the game more "just jump in", but without completely trivializing the grind (I do think the grind is important in keeping people playing).
Some ways to do this:
1. All perk slots unlocked at level 1. Really, I don't see any reason why it needs to wait until level 15. It's not like the perk system is overly complex that players need to be phased in.
2. Give them more perks at the beginning. Many ways to achieve this. They can make all non-teachable perks immediately available at rank 1 for every character. They can also unlock by default some/all teachable perks of base-game/free characters, and have said perks immediately available at rank 1.
3. More comprehensive tutorial. This one is subjective, I guess. I think the current tutorial is OK; not good, just OK. It does the bare minimum and that's it.

Nope. Voice chat that only survivors can hear. Dbd was never designed with voice chat in mind, as killer you rely on the survivors lack of coordination. Unfortunately swf gives them that advantage, so killer is at a huge disadvantage.
You can't buff killer to compensate for swf without screwing over solo players, so either swf needs to go, or solo needs voice, then give killers a proper buff.

4k with unique perks = Adept Killer.

Less grind for sure.
Something like making 1 perk tile in the bloodweb a choose your perk instead of a random one would be amazing to me
Perk buffs in general would be nice too
Also personal oppinion but less handholding for survivors. For example when a hex is in play you can tell me i'm cursed but don't tell me what it is. Don't tell me dead man switch is active. Give me the joy of being surprised
Blood warden is a good example of a perk cause the only way to know it's active is to see the exit gates being blocked. Those are nice "ow shoot" moments that handholding sometimes takes away from you
