Why is Ebony Mori so common in bloodwebs?

I've encountered this so much as a survivor and thought it was something that killers saved, but nope! You get em every bloodweb. Absolutely insane how much this game favors killers.

(This is going off of the assumption rarity being rolled before the item itself is)

Simple: If something is an pink/red its FAR more likely to be ebony sense the pink/red splinters have been removed sense it went from 1/9(6 splinters) to 1/3 for most killers if you were to get a red/pink in the blood web.

They did a lot of adjustments to rarity and blood web ratios throughout the last two years so ultra rares aren't all that rare anymore, especially on killers with less/no ultra rare addons, ever since they buffed the blood web past level 30 last year very rares/ultra rares have become pretty common, sometimes i get multiple ebonys in one blood web, and i never go 2 or 3 levels without coming across at least one, they become much more common after you reach level 30.

You always have atleast one ultra rare per bloodweb and seeing how most killer have 2 ultra rare addons it's a 1/3 chance itsa mori

Most killers have 3 red addons/items. Some killers have only two (Huntress), and some only have moris (Billy + Bubba). Since, the higher prestige, the higher rarity you get, you will get tons of red moris, as there is at least a 1/3 chance of getting them.

As there are tons of green addons/offerings, green moris are significantly less common as a result.

Every blood web has certain chance to spawn nodes of a certain color. If I'm not mistaken, for example, a P3 50 bloodweb always spawns 6 green, 3 purple, and 0 or 1 pink node.

Now, you need to consider that there are many more possible green unlockables than pink ones. A killer with standard add-on rarity distribution will have exactly 3 possible pink unlockables: 2 add-ons and the ebony mori.

Now, even if, for example, every bloodweb spawns 6 green nodes, there are also many more possible green unlockables in the pool to take those from, such as that they're individual chance of appearing is actually lower than the individual chance of a pink unlockable. That's why every killer can easily observe that ebonies are far more frequent than ivory moris.
