Why do I have to restart my game on console to prevent low fps

I'm not trying to be rude, but why is it that if my frames start to tank restarting dbd is the solution?

    Could be something to do with a memory leak or other components using resources after time. Restarting allows your system to do a full refresh of anything that has taken up space, and usually is affecting performance. :)
