Do survivors get enough points?
I mean killer gets way more than a survivor. Maybe its reasonable if we take into account that there are 4 survivors. 4vs1. But when I play survivor, it is for fun, not for points, because even if I take 4 stacks We're gonna live forever, it's hard to even match the killer's points. I play killer to get more points, and survivor to have fun. Can I do both at the same time pls?

I make a decent amount when I use WGLF.
Just gotta remember to switch up your play style.

Yeah, well, you're both wrong.
Killers may get more per game, but Survivors generally get more per hour as they can move on from games and go into a new one much quicker than the Killer can, who always has to wait until it ends.
And even if it were the other way round, I think it would be justified by the fact that Killers only have single-use Add-ons, unlike Survivors.

That was actually my reason for why killers get a single use addon.
PS: Unless you die pretty quickly, i think most survivors stay to watch the rest of the match, especially when it's SWF, so the killer still gets more BPs.1 -

Yeah but it is also much easier to pip with a killer than a survivor. You basically have to be the MVP in the round to double pip as a survivor. As a killer all you gotta do is kill on the safety pip and all four to double pip. You can climb the ranks easy with killer and go from Rank 20 to Rank 10 in a matter of a few hours while the survivor side is much more grindy to climb the ranks. Killers get more bloodpoints per round (normally) and pip easier. Survivors just have the luxury of jumping from game to game quicker.
I didn't speak about pips. The question is about the points. Do you think it's good that a survivor can't get many BPs?

They have the option to move on, but decide against it. They really haven't got any business complaining in that situation.

A Survivor can get just as much points as a Killer can: both sides are capped at 32K points. Use We're Gonna Live Forever and you can get the same amount of points as a Killer using BBQ & Chilli.
The possibility to make the same amount as the Killer is there, you just gotta learn how to use it.

I beg to differ. It´s not easier to pip as killer.

As Doctor already said, you are both wrong.
Both killer and survivor get roughly the same amount per hour. If the survivor plays bad, he can just jump into the next match. If the killer plays bad, he´s stuck in that match until everyone left.
I also find it unfair that survivors can find items + add-ons during a match AND keep their items they brought into the match. While the killer always loses his add-ons.1 -

Do you want to keep your purple flashlight, even after dying first?1 -

Nor the killers, even if they 4k. Where is the equity?

Well, i can show you screenshots where survivors got more points while dying then survivors who escaped.
It´s also not necessary to survive to pip. Which is why i don´t really care if i survive or not. Unless i found a purple flashlight in a chest, then i feel bad.0 -

It would be nice if survivors got more bloodpoints. Killers get more bloodpoints by base, AND have the much superior farming perk. I don't really see why they shouldn't make a bit more than they do now.

the killer has way more action going on than the survivor, so its only fair that he gets more points, isnt it?

Well, the point to me is not too few points for survivors, the point is the distribution.
it is a team game to the survivors, but team play is not rewarded as it should.Hooking is a good example. 2 People run for the hook, one goes there first, and get all the points.
Sometimes, one has to lure the killer away, takes the risk of getting downed and hooked themself,
and the other one gets the high amount of easy points.the bbq-event was a good example. Points for gens, unhooking etc should be more teamefforts than personal achivements. so even if you distract the killer and get hooked (and left on the hook for some time) you get rewarded due to the teamprogress.

A few things here:
1) If a Survivor gets a bad game and dies early he can simply move on to the next game and continue gaining BP. If a killer gets slammed he has to stick it out and eat every pallet loop, every teabag, every BM for the entirety of the game, even if it means walking away from a long game with 5k points.
2) Items and add-ons are carried over from game to game as long as you are successful and can be obtained in the map itself. Even if a killer gets a 4 kill match none of their rare and ultra rare addons will make it to next game. They must continuously pump points into 1 of 12 killers to have decent addons.
3) Most importantly, you only need to level up one survivor. There is no incentive to level up more than one survivor except for teachable perks which can already be obtained through the shrine whereas each killer plays differently. Therefor there is a higher demand for BP for killers than survivors.Post edited by HP150 on0 -

It is sometimes very hard to get points for killer, but if a game is very good to you as a killer, You can take out of the game way more than a good survivor in a very good game. That is what I meant.
