What happened to console optimization?
Seriously, what happened here, wasnt this announced to be completed by winter of 2019? Yet playing killer still makes my frames lower than the skill of a blendette

There was never any talk of road to 60fps or console optimisation in dbd

They keep dodging it by saying they need information/ reports from us. It's literally nowhere near 60 at every moment regardless of situation @Peanits @not_Queen
We can't fill out forms and just say "fps bad" but that's the case the fps is low from the moment the main menu boots up and persists at all times especially as killer.
We can't give situation/cause because it just is at all times.
Like this twitter post for example
How do we post optimization issues when the game is currently a walking optimization issue? Fps bad is as good as it gets

Yeah when tge frames decide to drop is so random theres no real way to point to anything.
Thoigh Ill say certain builds on doc FOR SURE tank tge frames, i think the xbox just cant handle it

The only thing they said in a blog post from over half a year ago is that they aim to get the console version of DbD up to 60 FPS and that optimization is an ongoing kind of process and that they try to improve the game with every update.
But as you can see nothing happened yet and they still choose to remain silent.

Still says 60fps by the end of summer 2019 on their website under health

Simple answer: it will never happen.

But there are some situations that pretty much always drop your FPS to zero.
Getting a new status effect (e.g exposed from Noed or mangled/hemorrhage from sloppy butcher or getting your first stack of bloodlust).
