Last survivor left

I don't know about anyone else, but I find it annoying when everyone is either dead or escaped but there's that ONE person who has to sit there at the exit gates teabagging and waiting for the Killer to show up. I think it'd be cool if when you're the last one left and are inside the gates, you have a brief timer to leave or be sacrificed. There's no other reason to hang around at that point other than to gloat and be toxic. Thoughts?

This is why I don't go near exit gates in those situations anymore.

They're just there to gloat and possibly get free points from winning the "chase" that triggers when you see them and they run out. (Which may actually hurt your emblems as well? Not sure. Not that emblems matter much, but still. No reason to give them that.)

Yeah, these players are just being sore winners. Best to ignore them and move on.

Sometimes when I play as Claudette I make noise to get the killers attention when my teammates are potatoes. And I’ll be next to a hook pointIng to it so the killer can kill me.I’d rather be dead then be stuck in a match with potatoes.

Usually I stick around to give the killer a free hit and give them points for the hit and chase at the gate. It isn't being toxic but saying goodbye and thanks for the fun.

While I agree, this is stupid...EGC is enough. This is not holding the game hostage. You can live for 2 minutes.

With Spirit and Deathslinger you can turn the Tides when they just stand there, waiting for you. With Monitor and Abuse phase in and Strike em down (ok, this require NOED, injured survivors or Something similar), or Slinger with the Red Add on. When you equip Bloodwarden and have precice Timing you can turn it into a nice sacrifice Party for the Entity.

Yeah, I usually go break pallets or close hatch (if applicable) but when there's absolutely nothing it's like, "C'mon, leave already!" Don't really like using NOED or Blood Warden because they're just too conditional when I could be running Perks to try stopping them from getting to Endgame in the first place. Also, generally Survivors aren't dumb enough (usually) to stick around against 'Slinger or Spirit.

It doesnt suprise me at all youre against this idea. Whats the problem exactly? While you dont do it yourself you like to sit in spectator mode and giggle at the person doing it? Theres no reason for people to waate time like this other than to be annoying

Yeah, 90% of survivors stopped letting me hit them at the gate a long time ago; now, they wait until I get close then run out so they can get those "escaped chase" points and I get nothing. So, I don't go to the exit gate, anymore. Nowadays, if survivors wait around in the gate, it just looks toxic and/or selfish from my POV; it doesn't come off like they're trying to do me any favors.

I think it's dumb if there are 2+ survivors left waiting in the gates because they're just wasting their time. Like, it should become obvious pretty damn quickly that I'm not going over there, at that point I don't see what they're trying to accomplish. Wow, you're wasting your own time; you guys know my killer queues are instant, right?

I actually like it if there's only one survivor waiting, because it gives me a chance to close the hatch if I can find it.

A similar problem is when you are the last survivor and you get downed with NOED and the killer just will not hook you, they just stand and stare or swing their weapon at your downed form while you spin around begging to be hooked. This seems like a stupid waste of everyone's time.

Years ago people gave hits regularly. Now it's just a "see me leave while you can't stop me, Mr./Ms. Killer!" I thought it was dumb when they gave hits. Now it's completely pointless. Unless I'm actively chasing someone I think I can get before they escape, I flat out refuse to go near exit gates during EGC. I'd rather find the hatch and see if I can find someone being extra greedy around it. Just leave, stop wasting everyone's time, and go to your next game.
