Quick Messages In-Game for Survivors?

With all of the controversy around SWF, maybe it's better to embrace communication during matches and then balance the game around it. With quick messages between teammates, such as "focus doing gens" or "being chased" there would be little difference between SWF and a group of 4 randoms playing together. It's worth discussing as I don't know other solutions other than give bonuses to people playing against SWF or playing solo.

It would be cool to have a couple more motes, or a very limited canned chat wheel, yeah.

Maybe put in some icons that only survivors see on the ui, like one that shows who's working on a Gen, who's being chased, who's cleansing a totem etc.

In Paladins and Smite, there are somewhat extensive quick chat options. A limited one could work with this game.

They stated in the last Q&A they don’t want more emotes and it was an explicit decision to let survivors not communicate too much, I guess this includes quick messages. Of course the whole SWF thing kinda destroys it but I also really like using emotes and buttdances to try to communicate a little bit with other randoms!
