Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

Unable to cleanse totem at the Hospital.

Step 1 : Boot the game.

Step 2 : Play as survivor in a match at the Hospital.

Step 3 : Find the totem as Claudette at the respective position.

Step 4 : Be unable to cleanse it.

Btw, when I got hooked on the map, I was able to see the other survivor's auras reflections in the water, which esthetically doesn't make sense :-).
