Playing in the red ranks...

First of all, i play both sides in the red ranks. When i play survivor a lot of games are really fun (for both sides) and then you get those games where the killer tunnels and (proximity) camps. interestingly its mostly the red rank killers who do that.

and when i play killer i see why those people are playing this "toxic playstyle". if you play "fair" you get looped while the gens getting poped all over the place. in my opinion this has 3 reasons.

1st the maps are still too big. its impossible to create pressure on the other side of the map unless you down all except 1

2nd there are way too many 100% safe palets on most maps. blood lodge is a good example. u have the killer shack, 2-3 jungle gyms + the palet at the bus with this ridiculous window that you can get and the palets in the middle of the map where you are allways visible for the survivor, so you cant mindgame it

3rd survivors can play super risky because when they get outplayed there are so many 2nd chance perks in the game that its not a big deal

and as the cherry on top of all of this you get all those cocky swf with voicechat, metaperks, keys and so on + the toxic bullshit like tbags, refusing to leave the map till the last second, aftergame insulting

in my opinion this shows the desastrous balance in the high ranks and explains why there are not enough red rank killers. its just an aweful game experience.

or do i have the wrong mindset for a competetive game when i just wanna play some fair games where everybody can have fun in a sportsmanish way and everything is fine as it is?

I played a SWF on Ormond last night with Clown. That was not fun. Only played him for a daily.

That map is obnoxiously unbalanced for killers, especially one like Clown

At Red ranks, I can f@#$ up half a dozen times as survivor and STILL escape. As killer, 1 mistake, especially at the beginning, and the game is already over. It's a shame that survivor is so easy it's boring and killer is such a joke. If I can play this game while watching Netflix on another monitor, the game is too easy.

IM NOT EVEN A GREAT SURVIVOR

There are a few maps that are still not balanced. Disturbed Ward, Rotten Fields and The Game are just examples.
