New Concept: Struggle Bar
We have all been there, struggling on the hook your sitting there spamming that button, key whatever and bam! You get impaled by the entity and your game is over. It’s the worst when you’re spamming it and somehow you still die. (I play on console, don’t know if this is a console issue but my friends experience this day by day) I propose that there be a little bar, at the bottom of your screen, just a visual queue is you stop spamming. Idk how much it would help but just having something there would help solve the “why did you ######### on hook!” Angry messages from happening. Note: I don’t want to change the amount of time or how fast you have to hit the struggle button, I just want to fix that scenario where you feel like you’re spamming it yet you still die.

Yeah I am glad they tried out the skill check idea for the cages and hope they carry the mechanic over.
That being said, the devs say they liked the spamming as the idea of fighting back the entity. But when you play a lot it does get a little frustrating

The spamming isnt fighting the entity its hoping there isnt a lag spike so you dont suddenly die. It's ridiculous. I adore the skill checks and really hope they implement this for the hooks. Much more interactive.

ah yes, me binding struggle to mouse wheel and casually scrolling while checking my phone is really intense gameplay
