What if Thick black fog poured in from behind the gates/ trial walls, but only if there are 2 or less survivors left? Should make end game more fair for the survivor side of it, and make the gates slowly regress so no more 99ing them?

What do you mean more fair for survivors? End game is already tilted towards survivors due to the long end game collapse short gate opening times and the help of peks like borrow time ds dead hard etc.
