It would be a more simple version of the game and make the survivors each feel a bit different at least. There are no items, add-ons, or offerings at all, the survivors and killers get one level 1 special ability only from their base set. Keep the game very simple and remove all the extra things that each side complains about anyway. Can be that there is only one perk per character and that is what is always is, it is randomly assigned when the game starts, or the player gets to pick the perk. I would play this mode almost exclusively.

    In practice, anything that splits queues would not be good right now.

    Splitting queues is not a good idea but I must admit I would love to have "arcade" game modes just for the funsies.
