So many toxic players

Can someone help me understand what is the point in reporting players at all for their toxic behavior during the game or chat session, if nothing actually happens to them and we just keep getting queued with each other?

The game/server really could use a major player clean up, or just remove that useless function.

Things do happen, It's just that someone has to check out the report and I imagine they get a lot of reports flying at them.

It also doesn't help that there's people on both sides that will report nearly anything they don't like as "toxic".

Plus you have no way of knowing for sure if anything happened because you dont get notified of the resolution of the report.

if someone's doing something genuinely bannable you're much better off recording the match or getting a screenshot of the chat and sending it in a support ticket following the standard in-game report function. apparently that has a higher likelihood of getting the result you're after.

I haven't had to do that yet so I can't comment from experience, but I've definitely been tempted a few times.
