Risk Reward & Toxic Hunter Abilities
Greetings fellow players & or devlopers this feedback is based off 16 hours of in-game active playing.
Hooks - Risk Reward
- Players can use toolboxes to disarm hooks for a brief period of time and i mean BRIEF to the point where it seems pointless to even disarm a hook to begin with, Hunters should have to fix them if they want to use them after the player has put the effort in to disable a hook.
- Self unhooking has such small odds of working that there's again no point in trying unless you've been there that long and the claws are about to spawn in to attempt to claim you.
- Hooks are too conviently located near Engines 9 times out of 10 because of this when you get knocked down there's no point A&Ding to try and get out of their clutches as you'll be hooked within 10 seconds of being caught the only time you're not getting hooked within 10 seconds is by chance a team mate has already fallen victum and is occupying said hook.
Hunters - Toxic Abilities
- Face clamps are an unnecessary mechanic and just add more pain points to the game that just aren't needed. OH HERE'S SOME MORE WORK STATIONS FOR YOU TO ROAM AROUND AND TRY BE QUICK OTHERWISE *SQUASH*
- Bear traps nothing against them but if a hunter is going to WALK INTO HIS OWN DAMN TRAP then they should be punished just as much as a unexpecting player walking into one.
- Shotgun grapple... why does this exist... you can't even out run most of the hunters already so why does this even need to be in the game.
+300 hours later
- Sabotaging hooks is a situational thing and only worth using if you're 4 stacking
- Still yet to unhook myself ONCE even though there's an achievment to do like 50 times. (CRINGE)
- any hook buddies out there OMEGALUL
- I actually love Piggy these days, face clamps aren't that bad just somewhat annoying when ran with certain add-ons
- Escaping a bear trap is near impossible nor it is worth the struggle 9/10 it takes +7 attempts to get out and by then you're in the arms of one CHAD lookin' Killer.
- Shotgun grapple... just dodge it 4head. lmao.

Is this a troll? It sounds like one...
Well... in case it isn't:
Sabotaging hooks is a niche thing to do and there is a reason for it. Sabotaging removes the main objective of the killer. Now think that killer can remove ability of survivors to work on the gens until at least one survivor is dead...
Well yes... self unhooking is a thing that almost never works. You risk a lot but you can completely safe the game with the selfunhook... high risk, high reward.
Well, again. Hooking survivors is the main objective for the killer, making hooks too far will just make all killers slug.
Pig is actually not the best and her reversed beartraps gives her some stall... Not to mention that you have more than enough time to run across the map twice.
He is hardly punished for stepping into his own trap. Distance that survivor gains is not neglectable.
For the last point:
- You aren't supposed to outrun the killer, you should loop the windows and pallets to waste his time, while others are doing gens.
- Deathslinger has a huge amount of counterplay, he is in fact, the weakest 110% killer.
- It's not a shotgun, it's a rifle.

- You need to sabotage right in front of the killer. One time they were pernament and well, that wasn't fun. (i know your suggestion isn't making them pernament but would result in HUGE time wastes for little effort)
- You should never do that unless it's last resort... or you have a perk that helps you do the thing (delivarence mostly)
- Wiggling main use isn't to escape, it's used to ensure you don't get dragged to the basement.
--------
- You're saying something that makes the killer interesting is unneccesery? Interesting
- I mean Trapper is already the only killer that's own trapper CAN hurt him.
- Because it's interesting! And not a shotgun! (+You're 100%, they're 110-115% (with exception of Nurse) Naturally you won't outrun them >.>)
