Why in the gods name are hooks survior sided?
In identity V surviors get punished if they rescue badly ( they get terror shocked which means that they instantly go down, but there is still alot of counterplay to it )
In dbd rescuer has i-frames even if you clearly hit him and deathslinger spear goes 99% trough the rescuer or teleports to the unhooked who ofc got borrowed time.
Give killers a chance, we already have to go trough second chance perks, 20 second= 1 gen rushes, no counterplay unhooks.
PS. fix the ranking system, ive had like 60 hours playtime and im only facing agaisnt 2k+ hour surviors who got tier 3 best perks.

On console atleast 90% of the time if you try and hit the rescuer autoaim practically pushes you to the hooked survivor.

that an't be true, the devs assured us that there is no auto aim. In fact, I have here a video of auto aim not being real: https://youtu.be/pVONUhmAdwY

Identity V is a completely different game with a different philosophy from DBD. They are in the same genre as DBD and borrow heavily but gameplay wise they are quite different. The hook exists so survivors can rescue each other and don't give me the bloody poor killer me speech. We have cheese that can be seriously exploited and abused, that survivors also have to deal with as well. This is supposed to be a interactive MP PVP game , use the situation to your advantage, adapt, learn, and beat them at their game
Stop blaming the game and demand the developers take all agency and ability for survivors to pressure just a bloody hook rescue. Just because we are a killer and they are survivors does not grant either of us that much priority

It's true, there is no auto aim. What DbD has is "aim dressing," which adjusts the animation so that it looks like the weapon connects with the survivor. However, due to the way it works, it checks for hitting the survivor both before and after the animation adjustment, which is why what should be a hit becomes a miss.
To put it another way, devs have explained it that "auto aim/aim assist" helps you get a hit you wouldn't have otherwise gotten. "Aim dressing" will never help you get a hit, but it can cause you to miss a hit you should have gotten.
I feel that distinction is important, otherwise you might think that there's an aim assist in the game which is sometimes actually helpful for you. There is not. There is only aim dressing, which can only cause you to fail when you should have succeeded.

Killers have plenty of chances as it is. Not to mention all the scummy play like hook camping.
