Half-Life Chapter
Ok, but how cool would it be to have a Half-life chapter in dbd. I know this sounds silly, and impossible. But many people thought it was impossible for a silent hill chapter to come because nobody would sell their character to another game, but yet here we are.
THIS IS JUST A FAN CHAPTER, I DOUBT ANYTHING WILL ACTUALLY COME OUT!
New Killer: The Undead
For others who are unaware of the series, this is "Jeff" from chapter 7 of Half-Life: Alyx.
Power:
Amoral Saliva
Viscous Drool:
Jeff has the ability to "vomit" out a viscous acidic liquid onto the ground, similar to Pyramid Head's trenches, but more circular in shape. If a survivor moves over this liquid, they are slowed down for a short duration and given a new status effect called "Damaged". This status effect makes the player injured for a certain amount of time, in this case, 10 seconds. Jeff will also receive killer instinct when a survivor runs over his "drool pool". Jeff can only have 10 pools active at one time, but they cannot be removed by the survivors.
Sharp Sense (Passive):
If a survivor performs a rushed action close to Jeff, he will scream and have an increased lunge range for 1 second. jeff will also receive killer instinct for 3 seconds.
Perks:
Unforeseen Consequences:
When a survivor is hooked, you become undetectable for 5/7/9 seconds. Once the survivor is unhooked, the rescuer becomes oblivious for 10/13/15 seconds.
Blinded:
When a survivor performs a rushed action, they become oblivious for 3/4/5 seconds. In addition to this, if activated via a window, that window vault will be blocked for 10/15/20 seconds.
Necrophobia:
While in your terror radius, survivor's exhaustion timers are paused. Reduces terror radius by 3 meters.
New Survivor: Alyx Vance
Alyx Vance is the protagonist of the new half-life game, Half-Life: Alyx.
Perks:
Clairvoyance:
If inside the killer's terror radius, their aura is revealed to you for 1/2/3 seconds. This perk can only be activated every 60/50/40 seconds.
Quick Escape:
Once hit by the killer, the perk activates. Press the active ability button to leave no scratch marks for the next 3/4/5 seconds. During this time, your speed will also be slightly increased.
Allied:
Once finished healing a survivor from the dying or injured state, the perk activates. That survivor gains the endurance status effect for the next 10/15/20 seconds.

For the chase music, I think a mix of music of Adreneline Horror and Diabolical Adreneline Guitar from Half-Life would work really.

Also I think Gordon could also be a survivor, and some perks could be named after Half-Life songs or chapters.

Hi there! It looks very interesting, to be honest. Having a different kind of trap killer sounds good. I am really interested in his active ability. Having a state which only makes survivors injured for a short period of time while giving away their location is a very good and interesting way to shake things up a bit. Although I do have some questions.
For starters, do 'drool pools' have a timer before they disappear? Can I, as the killer, make one disappear so I can place it somewhere else? Do I start with max (10) uses right away? What happens if I 'puke' over a survivor (as in 'any additional effect')?
Also, the passive ability lastinh for only 1 seconds seems too little time to react, imo. Maybe 3 so you can locate the survivor and make use of the lunge bonus distance?
As for killer perks, I really like them, but I do think maybe you should only increase one of the benefits of Unforeseen Consequences and Blinded, while thinking of a way to improve up to 'Very Rare' tier Necrophobia (although it is may be my favorite perk).

Clairvoyance could be very useful imo, but I would make the duration of the aura viewing effect last 4/6/8 seconds and have a fixed cooldown at maybe, 60.
Quick Escape rings a bell. Maybe Zarina Kassir has a similar perk? Can't tell right now. Anyway, seems good, but does it have a cooldown? I would use a very long cooldown, it would be a broken perk when mixed with other healing/hiding perks. Maybe cooldown: 120.
Again, I think Allied is very similar to other existing perk, but I'm not sure and it really doesn't matter. I think as it is right now, it can be easily wasted or easily broken. Many times, survivors will go to a far corner to heal themselves, so chances are the endurance effect will have run off by the time the survivor meets the killer. On the other side, the effect lasts for long enough to be exploited very easily. So maybe, either
A) Reduce endurance duration for the survivor (maybe 7/10/13, which is already quite a lot imo)
B) Add some other circumstance to make the perk take effect, maybe healing in the killer's terror radius.
C) Add a long cooldown effect, something like 120-150 seconds.
That's my opinion on the matter, anyway, and I have not been playing this game for enough time or know the meta game enough to give proper advice.
