    Seems more inspired by slasher movies in general (the discount Leatherface) rather than Dead by Daylight specifically, but who knows.

    Now if there was a shirtless British guy who dabbed to avoid an attack, some office guy in a collared short sleeve shirt and tie that hid in a closet, a black Canadian woman that crouches in a bush to survive, a Killer that rings a bell constantly, a Killer that was a giant Russian woman in a bunny mask, or a Killer with a grinning mask that used bear traps; then we'd be talking. /s

    But as is it seems to me to just be mostly focused on the idea of the Final Girl archetype and the concept of humans enjoying seeing the pain of other humans.

    I think it's more of a case that dbd and this movie are both inspirred by the old slasher movies
