A small perk from the pig that you have probably never heard of. So here's the basic idea of it. When you kick a gen, it shows that gen is regressing via white aura so you can see if someone has returned to it.... FOR 16 SECONDS. That time limit makes the perk useless but it could be easily fixed. Simply make the aura last for 15-30 seconds tier 1, 30-45 seconds tier 2, and 60-unlimited for tier 3. This perk would now be amazing for killers who just kick the gen and leave. Other than no possible extra regression, this would be better than overcharge.

Making the perk have an unlimited duration, let alone any higher than 30 seconds, would make it overpowered.
In the endgame there are only three generators left to repair. If a Surveillance Killer kicks all of them, they will all be shown in white to them until a Survivor starts repairing it. Then she can go straight to the generator because that wasn't 30 seconds, and even that implies that she hasn't done a full round of patrol between all three generators.
Surveillance has a 16 second duration for a reason, man. It's not completely useless, it's more suited as a late-game perk, which is the entire focus of the Killer who it comes from - the Pig.1 -
Three gens strats are already this way with the sparks, it really would just make it easier. The end game is very fast and the killer needs some kind of powerful tracking ability using gens1
