Concept: Inner Strength Buff

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but I believe a really good buff for inner strength would be for each totem you find and cleanse earns you a token. You can earn up to a maximum of 3 tokens per trial and one token is spent when you go into a locker to heal. Thoughts?

The perk is already great, it doesn't need a buff. There's also literally dozens of other perks that need buffs much, much more.

I thought about this before but it would be a terrible idea for other players running Inner Strength. I can already see that one greedy survivor going for all the totems, I honestly think the perk is in a good place right now.

I don't think it would be terrible. I don't use that perk and the first thing I do every match is break every totem. Im not going to not break them in case someone is running that perk.

First cone first serve for totems. So if someone has the perk as is able to stack it...feel free. No one is owed the right to break totems though, just cause they are using the perk.

I dont think i'd buff it but I would love the addition of a totem counter to the perk

I wish the totems would stack. Say you've done totem one...I run detective's hunch too...then you find totem #2...do you do it or save it for if you need it and risk it not being done and that annoying perk NOED activating? I just do every totem I find even if I don't need them for IS because I'd rather risk not having a totem to heal with than having that crappy NOED being alive.

Dude I was thinking the exact same thing to a T just a couple days ago. I personally really like the idea, even if inner strength is already a "good perk" I wouldn't call it a meta perk and honestly the devs should be buffing any and every perk for both sides to force switch up the meta.

An idea that was brought up by Scott Jund in his most recent "idea review" which doesn't seem too bad too be honest.

One thing is a situation that can happen which makes Survivors preventing other Survivor from triggering a perk, such as a Survivor cleansing every single totem (whether it is for a challenge, points or to prevent NOED) because of the nature of totems and Inner Strength, and another thing is incentivising that situation to happen. With this change, you are doing the latter.

Following how you play, sure, nothing wrong with that. But its rare. Not everyone will go for all 5 totems at the start. Making a bad situation happen more often isnt good.

Not to mention how Inner Strength is already an amazing perk and needs no changes.
