I'm mostly a survivor, and I mostly play solo. People camp a lot, and it's more obvious with certain killers. i.e Leatherface, Hillbilly etc.

But that's not a problem? Sure, it's not fun. But it almost garauntees a win. While someone is on a hook and being camped I can

1) check for the killer

2) a) team with a nearby survivor and rescue

b) leave them. no way I can take on a killer alone unless I'm running Diversion.

3) complete gens, since the killer isn't leaving the hooked player.


I'm also less afraid of a camping killer. Why? Because in my experience, camping killers are really #########. Whereas if a killer hooks someone and IMMEDIATELY goes off to find someone else, it means they're confident. If they're confident, they're experienced. And if they're experienced, I'm probably #########. It's really simple?


Tunnelling is a #########, but I o ly count it as tunnelling if they saw me get unhooked and then obviously came after me. It's #########, and half the time I get pissed, and either die or end up too frustrated to concentrate on gens etc. But I also recognise it as a killer's best way to garauntee a kill, so...


I dunno, why can't other survivors just acknowledge that? It's not that hard.

    I dont take issue with it either shen it hapoens to me. If i see a teammate being camped or tunneled ill try and get the killers attention but if that doesnt work im immediately on a gen

    You make good points but I'd like to remind you that while all of this is happening there is someone who is just staring at their screen waiting for the time to pass because they're being facecamped on hook. When I play with friends and the killer is camping me I encourage them to just leave me there and genrush so we don't give the camper what they want. But this completely takes the fun away from the game.

    Overall I agree with you, but I think most people complain because the game stops being fun when this happens. Surely, it stops being fun for the killer too, but they don't cancel each other out.
