New Licensed Killer - John Carpenter's The Thing
If you haven't yet - go watch it. The 1982 one, not the recent sequel.
The Thing's shapeshiftng power would be implemented something like this:
You start in your monster form and until you down a survivor you are basically a M1 killer.
When you hook a survivor you take his form and transfer to third-person view, gaining Undetectable. You have standart survivor speed and do not see scratch marks. You cannot attack/hook survivors or kick gens either - for all intents and purposes in this form you function as if you were just another survivor, with a few key exceptions.
For starters you can hear directioned and intesifying pulse when near survivors, helping to locate them. Your disguised form is fleeting as well, deteriorating over time, with almost invisible effects in initial phase (120-180 seconds, needs testing) to obvious sympthoms towards the end, when you will be forced to transform into monster form.
You may hold Power button to gruesomely transfer back into monster form, gaining back you terror radius and your ability to injure and hook survivors. Time to transfer should be considerably longer than Wraith's uncloak time, 150-200% I guess.
You may fake doing a cooperative action with other survivors (repairing or healing), though you will not contribute any progress, which can be noticed by survivors, While doing a cooperative action you may press a power button to instadown survivors cooperating with you, gruesomely transforming back into monster form. Survivors however will be prompted with a hard skill check, succeeding which will allow them to only lose one health state.
Addons for this power may grant effects such as these:
Afflicting survivors in proximity with Hindered (or some other) status effect when transforming into monster form.
Seeing scratch marks when disguised.
Seeing survivor auras in proximity when disguised.
Beeing able to trap a looted chest, making it appear unlooted and injuring a survivor who will try to open it.
Starting the match in disguise.
Contributing progress when cooperating with other survivors.
Delaying a transformation when hooking a survivor.
Being able to kick gens while disguised.
Increasing difficulty of a skill check to not be instadowned for survivors.
Slowing down deterioration of your disguise.
Some of these may be added to a basekit if playtesting shows this would be appropriate.
